toefl1TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language). The TOEFL test is the most widely respected English-language test in the world, recognized by more than 8,000 colleges, universities and agencies in more than 130 countries. TheTOEFL® test is offered in two formats: the TOEFL iBT® test, administered via the internet, or the TOEFL® PBT test, administered in a paper-based format.

The TOEFL iBT® test is offered in Nepal. The cost of the test is $160 in Nepal. There are four sections (listening, reading, speaking and writing) which take a total of about four and a half hours to complete and each section is taken online.

For the TOEFL iBT® test, administered via the Internet, you will receive four scaled section scores and a total score:
•    Reading Section (Score of: 0–30)
•    Listening Section (Score of: 0–30)
•    Speaking Section (Score of: 0–30)
•    Writing Section (Score of: 0–30)
•    Total Score (0–120)
